Job Description

¡¤         Meet all financial reporting requirements such as accounting, controlling and risk management within MR Korea Branch towards both MR Group and local authorities.

¡¤         Ensure all key financial processes and systems within MR Korea are optimised, effective and deliver the required outputs and support financial, strategic and business objectives.

¡¤         Ensure Annual Planning & Cost Planning processes are in place, timely and effective.

¡¤         Ensure that reserves, including IBNR, are in line with internal and regulatory requirements.

¡¤         Develop and manage cost accounting, management expenses (controlling) and internal processes to maximise efficiency.

Qualification

¡¤         A Bachelor¡¯s degree in a financial or accounting discipline and fully qualified accountant (CPA or equivalent).

¡¤         Minimum of 10 years¡¯ accounting and financial reporting experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within the insurance/reinsurance or financial industry and in a multinational organisation (essential).

¡¤         Significant experience in insurance/reinsurance financial management (essential).

¡¤         Experience of interacting with external and internal auditors, regulators, governmental authorities, executives (essential).

¡¤         Sound knowledge of IFRS17 and KICS (essential).

¡¤         Excellent analytical skills and the ability to steer the business with a holistic perspective and derive key business actions.

¡¤         Advanced leadership and communication skills.

¡¤         Advanced financial analysis and in-depth knowledge of statutory and internal financial management standards, accounting theory and philosophy and financial control theory and philosophy.

¡¤         Fluent spoken and written in Korean and English is a must.
