Your Job
Book the reinsurance transactions and maintain those
up to date in accurate and timely manner.
Control and manage receivables and payables
arising from business transactions with assigned clients.
Input and maintain the treaty business
information in the accounting systems for the assigned parts.
Co-ordinate withand support Home Office in
regard to the local reporting and tax reporting.
Monitor and control general ledger accounts reconciliation
as assigned and follow-up on outstanding items internally or externally as
required.
Your profile
Minimum one year of working experience in
general (re)insurance accounting (essential) and/or in credit control
management at general insurance companies, e.g. primary, reinsurance, broker
companies (preferred).
Good command of verbal and written communication
in both Korean and English (essential).
Excellence in MS Office (proficiency in excel)
Sound understanding and knowledge of automated
financial and accounting reporting systems
in (re)insurance industry (preferred).
Sound knowledge of local insurance regulations,
e.g. Insurance Business Act, Insurance
Supervisory Regulation impacting the (re)insurance (preferred).
Sound knowledge of accounting principles
including Korean GAAP and International GAAP (optional).
Experience in analysing financial data and preparing
the financial reports (optional).
Strong teamwork skill.
